Working from a home office, Kevin Halliday has grown this business to become one of the top interior railing companies in Calgary.

“At the beginning it was me, my truck, my cell phone and a lot of determination. My wife ran the daily business of the company from our home and occasionally sorted spindles in our dining room!” That was four years ago. The company has grown “one account at a time”. Kevin stresses that the support of Spindle, Stairs & Railings initial suppliers and customers was instrumental in the strong growth of the company within the first year. “To become successful, we must first imagine it.” We are constantly motivated and in search of new opportunities. It is always top of mind to be aware of the market and adapt to changes without delay.

The company’s attention to new and innovative product lines has given new homebuyers and renovators a fresh new look to their interior designs. Spindle, Stairs and Railings has developed a new technique to build circular stairs and is in the process of introducing it to the market. Offering an extensive selection of spindle patterns in wrought iron and a wide variety of woods and “keeping quality first” is the basis of our success.
